the bitter truth is that we come into this world alone, and we leave this world alone. but, along the way we care for others, and that is what makes the in-between part worth living. the reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see past better than it was. the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be. + Marcel Pagnol often enough we expect too much. the key is to just expect nothing. that one time when you are not all caught up in thinking about what you want to happen, it will. sexy doesn't have to be a tan blonde girl showing off her goodies. + Hayley Williams home isn't necessarily where you live, it is where you are completely and perfectly understood. i always see stuff and think, 'oh you would like this' i hope that you see stuff and think that i would like them too. do not where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. + Ralph Waldo Emerson this life is collected in things we put in our pockets, and people we could have married. forever is a long, long time, but i wouldn't mind spending it by your side. tell me, every day, i get to wake up to that smile. i wouldn't mind it at all. be patient and tough, someday this pain will be useful to you. + Ovid okay, so my little trip to the island an utter disaster. we got off the little boat then we went to some shops, i found a bag that i fell in love with, 150 pesos. which is way cheap compared to what i pay at the stores i get similar bags from. anyway, the moment i got my change from the lady.. it suddenly began to hail, then the hail turned into pouring rain. it went on for like over an hour, i was trapped in a little shop, the lady who owned it just chilled there, she gave me and my friend a chair to sit on. oh and by the way, i didn't make it to the top statue. i didn't get even get that close, after the rain had gotten lighter we began walking up the island again, all of a sudden my ears started popping then sudenly i couldn't hear and i thought i was going to pass out, the change in altitude totally screwed with me. i hate my ears too. when i drive and the road drops or something my ears basically fall apart. did i mention that only way the water came down was by the stairs..lol here are some pictures! :) xo, Layla S. |
